Where is HEA located?
HEA’s adoption center is located at 2255 Fox Heights Lane, Green Bay, WI, 54304. Open Monday-Friday 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 11 a.m. -4 p.m.
HEA’s sanctuary center is located at E5714 Bork Road, Marion, WI, 54950. Availability by appointment.

What does my donation go towards?
Providing daily care for the companions at our shelter and sanctuary.
Finding forever families to adopt our four-legged friends.
Educating our community about caring for animals.
Offering a low-cost spay/neuter program for families and animals in need.
Supplying the resources to rehabilitate companions who need a fresh start.
Giving sanctuary to companion animals requiring lifetime care.

What is the Tiredof2020 event, and how do I get involved?
The event consists of a photo contest consisting of user-submitted sleeping animals that have a chance to appear in a 2021 calendar through the contest. Submissions for the contest are $5 each. One of the other aspects of the event is voting for the submissions – each vote for those submissions is by donate-to-vote and is $1 each.

Where do I submit my calendar photo?
You can submit a photo by visiting our website, under the Tiredof2020 - Photo Contest button.
When is the last day for photo submissions?
Photo submissions are accepted through November 15, 2020, 8 p.m. CST.

How do I vote for a photo in the calendar Tiredof2020 event?
You can cast a vote for submitted photos by visiting our website under Tiredof2020 - Photo Contest - Vote

Can I have more than one pet in my photo submission?
Yes! We accept photos with multiple pets pictured for voting availability in the Tiredof2020 Calendar event.

Can I sponsor a pet?
Yes! If your heart is calling you to do something special for a companion animal in need, you can sponsor an animal in your own name, as a gift to honor someone, or as a compassionate way to share a memory.

What items can I donate to HEA?
Both HEA locations have an Amazon Wishlist page. Click Here for the Adoption Center page and Here for the Sanctuary page. The dogs and cats also require many items and care services that are unable to be purchased from an Amazon wish list. Monetary gifts allow us to meet those needs. Donate here. Help the animals in just a few clicks from the comfort of your own home or purchase something from one of our lists and drop it off in person at either location. If your donation is large, please contact us to help us prepare for its arrival. Check these lists periodically for updates!​
